Do not use a soap product that is harsh on your skin, as it will be harsh on the leather. There's a lot of texture on the surface of the planters that make them look really cool. I expected them to be darker in colour, however, than they are, based on the photos at the website. There they look closer to black. In reality they're more of a middle grey. But luckily I like the middle grey too.
